Shark Weather is a free beach-conditions site for 28 Southern California beaches. A small number of local sponsors help keep it free. Every sponsored spot is clearly labeled, and no sponsor ever touches the conditions scores or shark advisories.

The rules
- Prepaid monthly. Each month is paid up front.
- Every sponsor is approved first. We review each business before anything goes up, and we can say no.
- Family-friendly only. Sponsors and their logos must suit a general audience.
- No influence on the data. No sponsor can change, buy or influence a conditions score, a shark advisory, or any other number on the site.
- Always labeled. Every sponsored spot is marked “Sponsored”.
How to start

We’ll reply to confirm the spot, the price and the start date.
FAQ
How long does a sponsorship last?
Month to month. Each month is prepaid, and you can keep going as long as you like.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Just email us before your next month starts and we won’t renew it. Your spot stays up through the month you’ve already paid for.
What do I need to send?
Your logo as a PNG or SVG, and the link you want it to point to. That’s it.
